Valentines Day

Our family enjoys celebrating Valentines Day - in small ways.
Mike and I exchange handmade cards and maybe some dark chocolate.
Each of the children receive a valentine and a little treat (just a small something to eat).
This year Abraham made a card for everyone.
We decorate with hearts.  Valentines day comes when winter is feeling long and it is nice
to add a little festivity to our table.

I'm enjoying my loves today.

  2. What a cake confection! We don't even do cards around here. Just a good dessert - chocolate banana swirl mini cakes with a chocolate glaze. Sharing sweets with our sweets - that's what important around here. :)

  3. I love these little simple Valentine's celebrations! It's just what the doctor ordered this time of year--just a little fun, without being overwhelming or taxing.

  4. I have been following your blog for almost four years. I even remember the first post of yours that I discovered…it you wearing your everyday dress and that is when I knew I would like you.
    Happy Valentine's Day Tonya!
